Is Video The Future Of Advertainment?

It’s no secret that entertaining people is a shortcut into their hearts and minds. Advertising is working really hard to incorporate the so called advertainment concept into their campaigns, which, according to an article on Allvoices.com, means giving people more video that will entertain them in a way they want to be entertained.

This means that we’re seeing brands getting into everything, from deals with YouTube stars like L’Oreal did with Michelle Phan, to serious filmmaking, such as the Forward Focus Project, created by GE and Cinelan. Not to forget MediaMonks, which designed a video campaign around an event that saw 22 men fly to the age of space.
