Advertising and Entertainment Closer Than Ever

Entertainment and advertising are closer than they’ve ever been, and according to a report from ad:tech New York published on Allvoices, it’s all about different approaches.

The examples of  advertising entertainment mentioned include a campaign MediaMonks created for Axe that saw 22 men traveling to the edge of space, coupled with commercials and a documentary-like film. Another good example are Focus Forward Films 30 short documentaries about inventors , created for GE by Cinelan. YouTube was also in play, as demonstrated by L’Oreal successful move with hiring Michelle Phan, a YouTube entrepreneur who used makeup tutorials to launch her career.
