The World Cup Was Big For Branded Video

Possibly due to the World Cup craze, branded video got more than 2.9 billion views during Q3 2014. An article on MediaPost listed the five most successful branded video campaigns of the quarter.

Original Introduction, a campaign for Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4, was the most successful with more than 49.3 million views. It was followed by Always’ #LikeaGirl campaign, which amassed 42.3 million views. Checkout, a branded video campaign for Visa, was next with more than 31.3 million views, and it was closely followed by Nike’s The Last Game with more than 30.8 million views. Samsung must have done something right, because they were yet again on the list – their Milk Music: A New Way to Discover Music campaign was the fifth most successful with more than 29.5 views.
